The Royal Alberta College is accepting proposals from individuals that wish to provide an educational seminar and/or lecture for our Project “Gen Z” We are seeking an individual or an entity that has staff that obtains the following qualifications:
- Obtains a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (BComm)
- 12 + years of experience teaching young adults.
- Has experience in writing curriculum
- Has a valid teaching certificate in the province of residence
- Is in good standing with their regulatory association.
- Obtains a Master’s in Education Degree (MEd) With a focus on accounting and business education
To provide the following services:
- Provide a video-recorded lecture or participate in a recorded video discussion on the topic on the implications of finance and Post Secondary life and personal finance
- Provide a video-recorded lecture or participate in a recorded video discussion on the topic of budgeting
- Provide a video-recorded lecture or participate in a recorded video discussion on the topic of needs vs wants
- Provide a video on “how-to” set yourself up for success, and building credit.
- Provide a video-recorded lecture or participate in a recorded video discussion on the topic of budgeting challenges
- Provide a video-recorded lecture or participate in a recorded video discussion on the topic of “Savings” and “How-to save”
- Provide a video-recorded lecture or participate in a recorded video discussion on the topic of “The In’s and Out’s of Budgeting with an aspect for self-reflection – Where is your money going? Where is money coming from?
- Provide a video-recorded lecture or participate in a recorded video discussion on what to do if you are in financial trouble and how to overcome financial problems.

French Language Contracts ||Posted November 6th, 2022 ||
We seek to retain an individual on a contractual basis to conduct online interviews in French (interviews will be conducted virtually.) The individual will have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Education; an active certification for teaching in a Canadian province/territory and be in good standing with the regulatory board of their profession and governing province/territory.
The ideal consultant will have an active and healthy connection to the French Canadian community in Quebec and throughout Canada.
The minimum requirements are as follows:
Required Education:
- Bachelors of Education
- Master of Education in Educational Studies
- Ph.D. in Secondary Education is preferred.
Required Teaching Experience:
- Experience with a French Immersion School
- Contributed to a minimum of three academic publications, published within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 5 academic presentations
- A minimum of 13 Years of teaching experience
- Experience teaching at the University level
- Experience teaching in a k-12 school setting
Required Spoken Languages Skills
- French (spoken and written)
- English (spoken and written)
Required Leadership Skills
Ability to demonstrate extensive leadership experience within an educational setting
Other required skills:
- Must have knowledge of Google Meet as a virtual interview platform
- Knowledge of how to record and distribute interviews via google meets
- Interpersonal skills such (but not limited to) as putting participants at ease, contributing positively to conversations and deescalating difficult conversations.
- Organization skills such as (but not limited to) tracking and coordinating participants, obtaining release forms, connecting with french speaking participants within their own community and beyond. Other duties may be assigned upon mutual agreement as needed.

The Royal Alberta College (RAC) seeks qualified partners to join our projects (Gen-Z and Skills-Build). We seek opportunities to collaborate with not-for-profit and for-profit entities within consultancy roles. The roles will focus on the best methods for delivering our online initiatives.
Entities that wish to work with RAC on a contractual basis must meet the following:
- Must have experience working in a Canadian school as an educator at the level of a Teacher, instructor, lecturer or professor (adjunct). Staff must not have any conflict of interest.
- Must have Google infrastructure
- Must showcase social justice causes such as equity and parity within their mission.
- Must have the ability to incorporate an intersectoral approach if needed.
- Must be in good standing

The Royal Alberta College (RAC) seeks qualified partners to assist us with Project Skills-Build. We seek opportunities to collaborate with not-for-profit and for-profit entities within consultancy roles to assist in the planning, creating and distributing of social media marketing.

Scope of Work:
Responsible for the following tasks:
Develop and manage a comprehensive social media strategy to increase visibility, enrollees, and traffic across all platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and others as appropriate).
Create and curate engaging content, including but not limited to graphics, videos, and articles, to encourage audience interaction and promote our cause.
Monitor and analyze social media performance and adjust strategies to ensure we meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks.
Develop and manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation and monitoring.
Coordinate with other marketing and communications staff to integrate social media marketing efforts with other promotional activities.
Manage a diverse team of staff members, providing guidance, supervision, and ongoing training to ensure effective social media management.
Reporting to senior teams and other mutually agreed services
Minimum Proposal Requirements:
A cover letter introducing you and the primary contact information for the project.
A detailed description of your experience with social media marketing for not-for-profit organizations.

The Royal Alberta College (RAC) seeks qualified partners to assist us with Project Skills-Build. We seek opportunities to collaborate with not-for-profit and for-profit entities within consultancy roles to create ten individual online educational courses (micro-credentials). The courses should be self-study, guided if needed, and accessible only online.
You must submit a proposal and include the following information:
- Contact information
- Introduction

- Cost per Course
- Qualifications and Expertise
Proposal Submission Requirements further expressed:
Scope of Work: The service provider shall create 10 individual online educational courses, each with a minimum of 10 hours of content, covering topics related to [list the topics here]. The courses should be self-study, but with the option of guided support if needed. The courses will be implemented into our system and will be accessible through the internet and available 24/7.
Timeline: The service provider should provide a detailed timeline outlining the milestones and deadlines for the completion of the project. The project should be completed within 36 weeks
Project Plan: The service provider shall provide a detailed project plan outlining the approach to the creation of the courses. The plan should include the methodology, instructional design, development process, quality assurance process, and testing process.
Breakdown of Services: The service provider shall provide a detailed breakdown of the services that will be provided, including but not limited to the following:
Cost per Course: The service provider shall provide a detailed breakdown of the costs per course, including any additional fees that may apply. The cost should include all services outlined in the breakdown of services.
Qualifications and Expertise: The service provider should include a brief introduction outlining their qualifications and expertise in educational courses. The service provider should also include any relevant accreditations or certifications that they hold.
Proposal Submission Requirements: The proposal should be submitted electronically in PDF format to csj@alberta.college.

The proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Qualifications and expertise of the service provider
- Approach to the creation of the courses
- Timeline and project plan
- Cost per course
- Quality of work

- Cost per Course (including fees): This criterion evaluates the provider’s cost per course, including any additional fees or costs. The proposal will be evaluated based on the overall value for money.
- Quality of Work: This criterion evaluates the provider’s ability to produce high-quality work. The proposal will be evaluated based on the provider’s portfolio, references, and any other evidence of quality work.
The total score will be calculated as a percentage, with a maximum score of 100%.
The proposal with the highest score will be selected for further consideration.

Gen-Z Project, LGBTQ2S+ Youth Post-Secondary Education Outreach Program Facilitator ||Posted August 22, 2022||
The Royal Alberta College (RAC) invites organizations to submit proposals for the development and implementation of an outreach program aimed at promoting enrollment into post-secondary education for LGBTQ2S+ youth. The selected organization will work closely with other entities to collect information for the creation of resources that will support youth overcome barriers, if any, better understand the process for pursuing post-secondary educational learning.

Scope of Work:
The selected partner, whether an individual or organization, will be responsible for developing an outreach project aimed at creating a safe and open environment for LGBTQ2S+ youth to participate in discussions where they will be asked questions. The project may involve collaborating with other entities to facilitate these discussions, ask questions, and document answers. The intent of the project is to capture a better understanding of any obstacles, if any, faced by LGBTQ2S+ youth in accessing higher education.
The selected organization should aim to achieve the following outcomes:
- Increased awareness among LGBTQ2S+ youth in Canada
- Have 60 youth participants
- Creation of documentation that will be utilized to better understand the participants within the open discussions.
- Output the data into acceptable formats, including excel or google Sheet formats, and summary in Google Doc or MS Word.
Explanation of Criteria:
The criteria for proposals are set as the following:
- Contact Information: The proposal should include the contact information of the individual or organization submitting the proposal.
- Introduction: The proposal should have an introduction section that provides an overview of the proposed outreach project.
- Scope of Work: The proposal should outline the scope of work for the outreach project, including the objectives and activities that will be carried out.
- Timeline: The proposal should include a timeline that outlines the proposed start and end dates of the outreach project, as well as key milestones.
- Project Plan: The proposal should have a detailed project plan that outlines the activities, timelines, and responsibilities associated with the outreach project.
- Breakdown of Services: The proposal should provide a breakdown of the services that will be provided as part of the outreach project.
- Qualifications and Expertise: The proposal should outline the qualifications, if any, and expertise of the individual or organization submitting the proposal and how they are relevant to the outreach project.
