Description

In this course, learners will learn the basics of HTML5 so they can start building and editing web pages. You will practice coding your pages to design and add personal visual elements to your sites to gain experience in HTML. As well as Javascript coding and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), A web style sheet is a form of separation of presentation and content for web design. 

Learning outcomes:

  • Build a first web page with HTML and CSS
  • Distinguish between HTML and CSS and identify their separate uses
  • Identify and apply correct syntax for common HTML elements
  • Explain how semantic HTML tags are used to structure a web page
  • Use tags and attributes to identify key information within a page
  • Identify and use correct CSS syntax
  • Apply CSS to HTML elements

After this course, users will have a deep understanding of java programming language alongside HTML and CSS. As of 2022, 98% of websites use JavaScript on the client side for webpage behavior, often incorporating third-party libraries. As well as, all the common HTML tags used to structure HTML pages, and the skeleton of all websites to create your own websites.
